Welcome to FYZICAL Kids! If you know anything about us, know this: We strive to break down the barriers to your child’s emotional, physical, and social well-being so they can be HAPPY and successful participants in daily life.

We are clinic-based, but we also pride ourselves on meeting children and their families where they are, whether that be home, school, daycare, or other community settings.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Services

  • Occupational Therapy enhances your child's play skills, school performance, and daily engagement. Our tailored approach promotes independence and a supportive environment for growth. We target specific developmental challenges, collaborating to help your child gain essential skills. Sessions prioritize accomplishment, boosting self-esteem and encouraging new challenges. Whether in-home, in-school, or in-clinic, our therapists make learning enjoyable, empowering your child to fully participate in life.

  • At FYZICAL Kids, our feeding therapy plans are tailored to each client's specific needs and goals, creating an individualized plan that works for your child. We can address needs related to the following areas:

    • Slow weight gain or failure to thrive

    • Sensory sensitivities to food or selective eating behaviors

    • Behavioral difficulties around mealtimes

    • ARFID

    • Difficulty with oral-motor coordination ("messy" eaters!)

    • Tongue and lip tie (both pre- and post-revision)

Contact us with questions or to see if we can help with your child's specific needs!

  • At FYZICAL Kids, we help children with sensory processing differences by addressing the neurological cause of sensory processing inefficiencies. Most sensory-based treatment programs are band-aid solutions to sensory challenges, offering superficial and short-term methods to compensate for sensory processing deficits.

    Not ours!

We complete in-depth and specialized testing that provides us with detailed information about your child's current sensory processing skills, what areas of the brain are at play for the processing inefficiencies that are present, and what neurotransmitters need to be addressed (and how and in what order). We then design and implement sensory protocols that are specific to your child's underlying cause(s) for sensory processing inefficiency to produce long-lasting, meaningful change that can be generalized across settings!

Our techniques are easy to learn and can be taught to parents, teachers, and other caregivers for consistent carryover and faster progress.
